Flint Polson is a Professional Engineer at Coffey Engineering & Surveying, LLC. He has worked more than 20 years on civil engineering and surveying projects, and currently oversees all specialty inspections with public and private sector clients for Coffey. Flint’s engineering experience includes designing and monitoring construction of residential subdivisions, parking lot layout design, conducting Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) highway planning and inspections, testing concrete and masonry materials, and preparing monitoring reports. As a surveyor, he has performed in-progress construction staking, assisted in boundary and control surveys, and preparing and filing land plats. Flint has taught classes on materials testing, project inspection and quality control for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. His understanding of urban street and highway construction projects runs deep, and Flint has an extensive background in completing engineering recommendations and attending project plan reviews.

and materials testing, Flint is a concrete thinker.


Flint received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and has an associate’s degree in Surveying and Mapping from the Denver Institute of Technology. He is a registered professional engineer (WY#9867). Flint is certified in Soil and Aggregate Testing, and Asphalt Cement Testing, by the American Concrete Institute through the Portland Cement Association.
